InDesign: placing text in a circle Solved

Question

Hello,
I would like to know how to put text in an ellipse. By default, the text block is rectangular but I would like it to be inserted into an ellipse. Is it possible without having to adjust each line, etc.?

Hello,  Select the text frame then Object>Convert to Shape>Ellipse!  However, to vertically center the text in a modified frame… I’m stuck!  See you later!

Hi, Yes, it’s possible, and very simple. You create an ellipse and then you import your text into it…

with Microsoft Publisher, you can write in a circle, in an ellipse, and in all imaginable positions, and you can adjust for all shapes.
I used it to make company sticker labels
for example, eclairs and circular text for electrician labels to stick on helmets
with Publisher, you can do everything, even import photos into the illustration.
