How to limit the speed of a Freebox user?

Hello, I'm writing to you because for several months I've been having some problems with the wifi. Indeed, at certain times the connection on my PC is very slow and sometimes doesn't work at all.
When I couldn't connect, I tried with another PC and the connection worked for a few minutes before dropping again...
So I contacted Free to see if they could do something, and after a series of tests, apparently the box is working normally, the problem must come from my PC, they say...
I then reformatted my PC and the problem persists.

Then I noticed that my slowdowns occur when my roommate is there (playing video games in his room), and when he has a friend over, I have no internet access at all...
So I tried changing my MAC address to re-identify as a new user on the box, and lo and behold, everything works... for 2 minutes.... I repeated the same procedure 5 times and got the same result 5 times.

My question is the following: is it possible that I am being kicked off the wifi or that my connection is being limited (they don't have the box IDs) with some program?

If that's the case, how can I forcefully maintain my connection and bandwidth?

(I specify that most of the time I can't use an Ethernet cable).

If you have a solution, I would be really grateful, thank you.

N.B.: I read that with Kali, you could do things, but I'm a bit lost...
N.B. 2: Obviously, they told me it wasn't their fault...

    Hello
my slowdowns happen when my roommate is around
there you go! they are hogging the Wi-Fi bandwidth
which is probably too weak to provide good Wi-Fi for everyone
the only solution: connect via Ethernet even if it means passing an RJ cable through a window, or I don’t know where!
or disable the Wi-Fi on the box: but then you won’t have it either!
it also depends on who pays the subscription (shared bill or not)..
or in the form of contributions?
otherwise, we will have to establish connection hours for each person..that everyone will have to respect.

Without the box IDs, no, not possible.

      Even with Kali?

(PS: We are both renting a room from an old lady who is only there on weekends, and the access to the box is only available on weekends as well).

Not that I know of. For me, it probably comes from the fact that it must be using a good part of the bandwidth.

    Re
the best thing is, as I said earlier
to plan usage slots for each person, which everyone will have to respect!
You can also consider flexible slots depending on the days
for example, roommate 1 will have from 6 to 8 PM on Monday while roommate 2 will have from 8 to 10 PM that same Monday
on Tuesday, the slot will be from 6 to 8 PM for roommate 2 and from 8 to 10 PM for roommate 1
or even from 9 to 10:30 PM for 1 and from 10:30 PM to midnight for 2, and so on, especially on weekends
we can imagine anything to share, including on the weekend and in the evenings, which everyone wants... it just takes a bit of discipline and goodwill from everyone according to each one’s needs.
