[Windows 10] Disabling the Buggy ELAN Pointing Device

Hello,

I am on Windows 10, and I would like to disable the Touchpad when my mouse is plugged in. Before, I simply checked the box "Disabled when external USB mouse is plugged in" and it worked very well.

However, I recently bought a Logitech G502 Proteus Core mouse, and since I installed it, when I check the box mentioned above, my Touchpad does not respond at all, whether my mouse is plugged in or not.

Do you know how to fix this?

Configuration: Windows / Firefox 45.0 / MSI Ge70

Hello,

what is the touchpad management software? Then, is it possible that the touchpad and mouse drivers are incompatible (I just saw it on the Windows site: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/mouse-touchpad-and-keyboard-problems-in-windows-94b4ca7b-4f2f-077e-4eb4-f7b4ecdf4f61#v1h=tab01).
For now I can't say more... Read the article on the site to the end, it might help you.

Keep me updated
