[Windows 10 Update] Elan Touchpad Bug

Solved
Hello everyone,
I'm reaching out to you because I'm having a problem with my touchpad since I updated to Windows 10. Everything is working fine, except that my touchpad (Elan Smart-Pad) is not functioning correctly. I can move the cursor and click (by pressing anywhere on the pad), but I can't click at the bottom (left for left click or right for right click) nor can I tap the touchpad to click.
My computer is an Acer V3 - 772G - 54208G1TMakk.
Thanks in advance,
ThetheduN1

  1. Hello ThetheduN1, I believe installing the ELAN driver will fix the problem; it is available here: https://www.driverscape.com/manufacturers/acer/laptops-desktops/aspire-v3-772g/101112

    1. Thank you very much for your help. It works!
I suspected that the problem came from a driver after seeing discussions about this issue, but on Asus. But I couldn’t find the right driver on the internet.
      Thanks again.

    4. Hello, I also have a laptop with an Elan Smart pad, my problem is that I don’t have the touch gestures of Windows 10, http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-10/getstarted-try-touchpad-gestures
Am I the only one in this situation?
