Hello,
I received a message from www.mail-vert.fr saying that my correspondent misspelled my email address, writing example oranfe instead of orange, and asking me to click on action to receive this email.
Virus Scam ?????
Thank you all

Configuration: Windows / Chrome 49.0.2623.112

Hello; I don’t think it’s a scam. Relying on the most common mistakes, this site intercepts emails sent to the wrong address (outlouk, otmail, ...) and offers the true address to retrieve the email. If the person agrees, they then receive ads (from which they can unsubscribe)... They make money from advertising.

No viruses in sight, a scam but with a useful counterbalance (and one that you can get out of).

Hello,
Thank you for the explanation.
As soon as a third party phishes and modifies my email address, it's hacking...
To resolve the issue, I uninstalled and reinstalled Office.
Best regards.

No, this is not a scam for once.

I received a green email indicating that "la poste" was writing to me at an incorrect address wandaoo instead of wanadoo. I logged in to my la poste account with a PC and found that I had indeed made a typing error when filling in my contact address wanadoo. Fortunately, not everything is a scam... However, yes, the green email takes the opportunity to send a bit of advertising in its alert message about the incorrect domain, but it's free and they need to finance their servers somehow...

Good evening!

If your correspondent has misspelled your email address, you will not be able to receive the email. Scam confirmed.

Have a nice evening!
