Hello,
Configuration: Windows 7 / Internet Explorer 7.0
You are receiving this message to inform you that your mailbox
is full. You can no longer receive new emails:
they are being returned to the sender.
In order to receive emails again, you need to clean up
your mailbox:
- if you check your email via the POP protocol, make sure
that you have not checked the 'leave messages on the
server' option. If it is checked, you must either uncheck it or
delete messages from your inbox
- if you check your email via the IMAP protocol or from the
Webmail interface, messages remain on the server until:
1) you delete them and
2) you empty the trash
To see the size occupied by your mailbox, go to
webmail: <https://webmail.free.fr/> log in, and click on
the '% disk space' icon.

Hello,
It's very well explained, each ISP provides a capacity to its clients for emails (50MB or 75MB), when the inbox is full, it needs to be emptied, go to the webmail address and delete some messages.

Anonymous user
I created an account on laposte.net, with 1GB of storage, and I provided it to my ISP as an address, since SFR's messaging service is often down.
