Solved

Hello,

So here it is, when I launch the game, a page opens and stays blank with just the title Dark Souls and the logo in the page header...

I think my problem comes from an incompatibility with Windows 10.
I tried the following manipulations:

- Launch the game in compatibility mode for Windows 7
- Run it as an administrator
- Uninstall and reinstall it
- Check the game cache via steam (I was told that there was a missing file and it has been downloaded)

Thank you for your responses!

Best regards, me. ^^

Hello everyone, I finally managed to launch the game thanks to this method:

"I solved the problem and it is very simple.
So for those who have a white or black screen as soon as they launch the game, here is the solution:

    1) Download the DSfix archive here: https://www.nexusmods.com/darksouls/mods/19/?tab=2&navtag=http://www.nexusmods.com/darksouls/ajax/modfiles/?id=19&pUp=1

    2) Take everything in the archive and paste it into the game's DATA folder.

    3) Open the Dsfix file (command settings)

    4) In the Graphics Options section, and in the lines:
    renderWidth
    renderHeight
    Set your screen resolution. Example:
    renderWidth 1600
    renderHeight 900

    5) In the Other Option section and in the line override the in-game language, a little further down, it says:
    overrideLanguage none
    Replace none with fr

    6) And finally in the section The settings below are not yet ready to use!! on the line:
    forceFullscreen 0
    Replace the 0 with 1

    7) Launch the game and there you go!"

    Thank you to this person.

    Best regards, me. ^^

You should try changing the resolution, I had the same kind of error!

Change the resolution of my screen? Or the game?
Because I can't access the settings for the game...
      Thanks for your response.

Ah, if you can't even access the settings, try updating your drivers and making sure to install everything that's required! (DirectX, etc..) :)

No worries on that front, I've checked everything and it all seems to be in order.
I found a procedure to follow through DSfix. I'll keep you posted.

      Thanks for your help.
