Dark Souls 2 won't start

Recently, I purchased a game on the Steam platform, Dark Souls 2.
However, when I launch it, a white window appears, and a few seconds later it says "Dark Souls 2 has stopped working" and it closes.

I am on Vista Service Pack 2, and my configuration meets the minimum requirements for the game.
I searched online and followed some advice:

I checked the game cache, no issues - I run the game as an administrator, but that doesn't change anything -
then I was told that it could be related to display optimization (something like that) and that during startup the game can't launch because it can't adjust to the resolution/display of my screen ... (well, I don't know much about computers, so if you have questions to better understand my problem, feel free to ask)

So I went to the Catalyst Control Center to try to disable "GPU scaling", but I couldn't find anything like that...

Any ideas? Thanks for any help, I remind you that I've already searched on Google but that didn't give me anything else, I'm a bit desperate.

Good evening, the version of the CCC you’re showing is prehistoric. I hope that’s not your own screenshot because you won’t be able to run this game with an ancient HD 2400 Pro. What’s your setup by the way?

ATI Radeon HD 4350, 4GB memory, AMD Athlon 7550 dual-core processor, 2.50 GHz, but even if I have a setup that's not great, I should at least be able to launch the game (and it should just lag, right)?

Your graphics card is at least 5 times less powerful than the ones requested in the minimum configuration, and that's starting to be significant. Even at minimum settings with a very low resolution, you wouldn't be able to achieve anything playable.
