Mailing: bold italic underline field

Hello,

I have searched through the various articles but cannot find the solution. The fields in my mail merge are in standard format, but during the merge, they appear bold, underlined, and italicized.
No formatting in the Excel table, nor on the field itself.
I don't understand.

    Good evening, it's in Word (in the Mailings tab, you click on Highlighted Merge Fields) then you remove the formatting,

      Thank you for the response but it still doesn't work. At the time of merging, the bold, italic, and underlined formatting comes back...

        You do what zinou advised you, but AFTER having done the mail merge; not before!
