Hello,
A few days ago, a message popped up on my computer explaining that I should call the toll-free number provided because there was a risk of someone accessing my data (bank, email, etc.). I then contacted this number for the company anytech365, and a technician took control of my PC, explaining that there was a Trojan on my computer.
I paid for the repair 150€, and I had to pay by credit card; the site was secure, I received confirmation emails, and nothing alerted me.
However, since yesterday my computer is much slower, and I’m starting to have some doubts about the reliability of this maintenance company. What do you think? Should I seek advice at a shop?

FRAUD AnyTech365
I had a problem with my computer, a virus installed itself and suddenly a phone number appeared on my screen saying "Warning, your computer is in danger, a program is crashing your Windows system, call quickly." So I called the number and that's when the problems started. They destroyed my Windows system and asked me for 180 Euros to fix it. I went to a computer repair shop where they fixed it for 65 Euros, a big difference from the AnyTech365 price. At the shop where I got my computer repaired, they explained to me that I wasn't the first to come with this problem. They told me that they put a virus on your computer, and then when you call the number that shows up, they charge you 180 Euros to clean your PC and scare you by saying that you are going to have all your codes and banking information stolen. WARNING, BIG BIG FRAUD AnyTech365
PS: They told me they would refund my 65 Euro bill, but then they asked me to send my bank details to process the refund, and I told them to refund me by check, and then I heard nothing for a week. Strange. I sent them emails to follow up, and after a week, they finally replied saying they couldn't respond earlier because they were on vacation, but that they couldn't refund me by check because they didn't have any checks.

Hello everyone.
My name is Julien and I am the Operations Director for AnyTech365. I would like to intervene to provide additional clarity on a number of elements present on this forum.
First of all, in response to Marion999, we exclusively sell technical support packages, which means you have access to our services 7 days a week from 8:00 AM to 9:00 PM (9:00 AM to 6:00 PM on Saturdays and Sundays). Sometimes the PC may slow down after the initial maintenance work, or an adjustment of the security suite settings may be necessary (we use BitDefender technology, which is virtually the best current technology for individuals, but it can sometimes be quite demanding on the system; however, you should have been warned of this possibility when you were taken on). Due to your use of a pseudonym, I cannot find you in our database to investigate your case and understand the reason for this poor communication, but please feel free to call us if the issues persist. The support is valid for one year, so you would even be wrong to deprive yourself of it ;-) (the same goes for Mimolette1338, whom I cannot find in our system for the same reasons!)
To address Malekal_morte, I invite you to visit our website and take a look at our partners... It is clear that these companies conduct some checks before establishing this type of partnership. That said, we are well aware that there are many unscrupulous companies in this industry, and it doesn't make our job any easier...! To some extent, we understand that our operating methods may sometimes raise concerns afterward, but rest assured: we exist, we are recognized in the industry for our seriousness, and we do our utmost to deliver impeccable service. For any questions or requests, you can contact me directly at julien.le.mesle at anytech365.com
Best regards
Julien

Well, listen, your site Anytech 365 is beautiful with plenty of logos from big, well-known companies to reassure people, and you're *supposedly* recognized in the field.
If this is all you can find to respond to the topic, where the person receives a false message saying their computer is at risk and that they need to call a number to get sold a bunch of software for over 150 euros.
Like here: https://forums.commentcamarche.net/forum/affich-33322697-comment-enlever-adds-by-albireo
or https://forums.majorgeeks.com/threads/has-anyone-had-experience-of-using-myinternetsecurity.294391/
Given the user feedback, one can easily conclude that you don't care whether the computer is infected or not and that your only interest is to have as many software installed and sold to inflate the final bill.
The end result is a bunch of useless software that slows down the computer.
This practice has exploded for the last year or two through false messages saying the computer is infected.
Who knows Anytech 365 other than through user complaint topics?

I hope this answers your question. If you had taken the time to do your research (which would seem to be a suitable position before forming an opinion about a company, especially after I indicated our partners), you would have realized that AnyTech365 is a subsidiary of MSC, which has several of its products certified by Microsoft (MyFreeantivirus, CharityAntivirus). The same goes for TV. Unless you suspect us of having hacked their sites to add our logos? Please be serious... Once again, AnyTech365 is a technical support company and does not aim to sell software. Everyone can make mistakes in judgment, but intellectual honesty would suggest that one should admit to having made a mistake. This choice is obviously yours!
Sincerely,
Julien
Logos and certifications, as far as I'm concerned, don't mean anything.
Especially if you have to pay for them with 3/4 verifications on the software.
In the logos on the Microsoft site, there's PCKeeper.... or Tencent which is also pushed in PUP mode.
That says it all..
You haven't answered the main question, why does AnyTech 365, unknown until now, seem to have practices similar to those of 'tech scams' according to user complaints?

Manuella Anytech is a serious company, and I assure you their antivirus program is excellent. In fact, they are recognized among professional companies and are recommended. They respond and are there for every problem. As for me, thank you to Anytech; you are wrong, they are competent. Moreover, they refund if clients request it. No, they are serious people.
Julien Hello,
I’m reaching out to you here, in the "public web column", due to our inability to receive a formal/positive response from your services regarding our request for a refund (exercise of the right of withdrawal).
This request was made by email (as indicated on your website) within the legal and contractual deadlines (those announced on your website).
Following this, I called your hotline which refused to provide us with a reference number by return email confirming the processing of our request.
As of today, no refund has been issued even though you have all the necessary elements to process it (timely request, order reference, bank details,...)
If your company is as serious as you claim, I kindly ask you to personally ensure that our request is officially addressed.
I am available to provide all necessary information via private message.
Of course, depending on your responses/(in)actions, I am committed to significantly enriching this forum to your (dis)credit.
Thank you in advance.

Hello everyone,
I would like to respond on the topic of anytech365. I have a high-tech and very powerful PC, and I thought I was well-protected with antivirus and other ad blockers, etc. But in the end, I ended up with quite a few viruses (not big ones, but annoying). Anytech365 never contacted me; it was I who downloaded a registry cleaner and a PC cleaner from them without knowing it. I called to activate my key for these two software programs, and that's where everything started. They analyzed my PC remotely, and I saw a lot of more or less serious things. I disconnected, claiming a mishap, and went to verify for myself the validity of their findings and statements. Everything was true, and according to the dates on the spy files, they couldn't have installed them that day just to scare me and sell me their products. That said, since they cleaned my PC and installed their two software programs, my PC has become reliable and performant again (I checked everything afterward, performance stats, etc.). I paid 179 euros for this intervention and the two extremely effective defense software programs. Of course, I was cautious at first and took my precautions (bank) to counter any potential scam, but there was none. They are true professionals, and I am very satisfied. The price may seem high, but if you go to an IT technician for a cleaning, it's a minimum of 100 euros, and this is without additional software and especially not with remote assistance whenever you have an issue. As for their recognition in the online community, was Windows recognized as it is today at its inception??? There are always skeptics, but should we therefore defame without proof and without knowing exactly what we're talking about? These companies are, after all, pioneers in this field??? For my part, my skepticism has turned into TOTAL satisfaction!!!!

Huge scam.
I got a blue screen that displayed a lot of codes. A big warning recommending me to CALL IMMEDIATELY the supposedly support number.
I called and reached the company Anitech. Someone connected to my PC, told me there were viruses. They admitted that their pop-up was false advertising but asked me for €250 for the repair and announced a monthly payment of €30 for their assistance, to be directly debited from my credit card.
I hung up. I took my computer to a colleague who cleaned it to remove the viruses that this gang of scoundrels had injected.
WARNING, REPORT MASSIVELY THIS SCAM OF A COMPANY BASED IN SPAIN TO THE CNIL.

As mentioned in the first message of this thread, they are practicing "tech scams".

Hello,
Stop all these criticisms without knowing?
As for me, I am satisfied with their work. Thank you for the work they did on my computer, which was no longer working!!!!

Hi,
yes,
This is a message regarding a phone support scam aimed at making you believe that your PC is infected to get you to call a support service...
The purpose of this support is to reinforce the idea that your computer is infected, in order to make you buy software at high prices, often ultimately around 200 euros.
To check the computer:
Follow the FRST tutorial. ( take the time to read carefully - everything is well explained ).
Download and run the FRST scan, 3 FRST reports will be generated:
Send these 3 reports to the site http://pjjoint.malekal.com/ and in return provide the 3 pjjoint links leading to the reports here in a new reply so that we can review them.
Please press any key to continue the disinfection...

Thank you for your advice, but now I’m not feeling too reassured. I prefer to see a professional and not install anything on my PC. I just wanted to gather information about this company... Do you think they could access my data and have installed viruses on my computer? Because anyway, I know I’m not going to get my money back.
I also have serious doubts about the honesty of this company. They cleaned my computer for the first time for €150 + the purchase of an antivirus for €69. On the first day everything works, the next day nothing at all. Since then, there have been two other interventions (computer too slow: startup, browsing). Then again, on the first day everything works, but then nothing again and one application no longer works at all.
Does anyone know the address of the head office of this company or its subsidiary in France? I would like to send a complaint letter. If necessary, I will use my legal insurance to file a complaint.

I don't think this company has its registered office in France, or it's a BP.
On their site, you have these contact details, but it's the support number that will probably still try to get you to buy stuff.

Hello,
Well, I've just dealt with them and everything is happening as you described. I need to call them back tomorrow to give a response because €150 is no small amount! I think my answer is going to be negative.
Thank you for this information.

Hello, I cannot judge, I requested to terminate my contract, I am 76 years old and my mistake was not checking. My children checked my registration, I paid €141.60 on 08/20/2016. But since 09/20/2016, I have also been paying €20.80 every 20th of the month. Not having my secret code anymore, I sent them both registration forms.
So they have all the necessary information. I am waiting and I will update you on the outcome of my request to ANY TECH 365.
Sincerely..

Good evening,
I also have problems with them, they block me, and I can't uninstall a real scam ...
Hello, I had tried a software called PC Help Soft Driver Updater. I tested it on my PC without buying it, and it indicated that I had numerous drivers to update. However, I didn’t purchase it! Every day, multiple times a day, I received an ad inviting me to register and therefore buy the software. Each time, I was offered a good discount, down to only €15 at one point. Since, according to them, I had drivers to upgrade, I finally bought it to stop being bothered because I didn’t know how to get rid of that advertisement. I have a very high-performance and expensive ASUS Pro Art 16 laptop. I use it for photography and video. As soon as I installed this cursed program, the problems started. The PC became very slow, taking 15 minutes to boot up, among other various issues. I then contacted a support service whose phone number was listed for the software troubleshooting, and that’s when the scam began. The “technician” told me there was no problem and that he would restore it to how it was when I bought it without losing any of my programs and files. He then told me he was offering a service called AnyTech and praised the merits of this thing. He seemed knowledgeable, and I fell for it like a fool. He proposed a 5-year subscription, even offering an additional free year. The prices were mentioned as to how much it would cost per month, but I had to pay the total amount upfront. I saw this as a condition to get my PC in order, and since I needed my PC, I paid €870! That day, this technician and another stayed on the line with me for 6.5 hours. The next day, I was contacted again because they hadn't resolved the issue the day before. I had the same technician as at the beginning and another one after him. This lasted 4.5 hours, and the last one ended by saying he couldn’t find a solution and gave me an appointment for the next day at 1:30 PM, telling me that this senior technician would fix everything. So today at 1:30 PM, I was on the line with Bachar Messibah or Mennibah. He fiddled around with my PC remotely like his colleagues until about 6 PM, when he told me to leave my PC on, not to touch anything, and that he would get back to me the next day at noon. The first technician was Enzo Garcia. I feel like I've fallen into a big scam, having already bought the software after intense harassment to get me to buy it, then being charged for a huge contract while I was in trouble and saw this as the only solution.
I think I'm about to send my PC back to ASUS and try to exercise a right of withdrawal. Any serious help would be welcome. The support number I called is +32 3 5470178, but I was also called from +33 9 75 129654 and even from Spain!
