Low CPU Frequency Issue

Hello,

I bought an used Quadro 5000 graphics card a year ago to have the necessary power for video editing.

But the problem is, I don't notice any significant difference between now and before. Worse, since then, my processor is stuck at 1.15 - 1.19 GHz.

I overclocked it to 4.3 GHz but it still does nothing; it's still stuck at 1.15!

I installed the drivers for the Quadro 5000, but I'm having a hard time configuring it: There are too many options, and I don't know which ones to choose :-/

Is it my graphics card that has a problem, my processor, or both??

Thank you in advance,

<config>Windows 10 / Lepa GSerie 750W / Rampage IV Formula / i7 3820 3.6GHz / 16GB RAM (2*8) / Quadro 5000 Nvidia / <config>

    Hello
under power options in the control panel, you need to select high performance, then modify the advanced settings to set the processor power management to 100%
hoping that the PC has a good fan

I think that in the BIOS, you need to disable Intel hyperthreading or something like that which auto-regulates your frequency.

That's it! All I had to do was change Auto-speed in the BIOS! Thank you very much!

Thank you very much for your advice!
I will try that as soon as I have access to my PC.
