    Hello,

    When models are sold with lifetime updates, the updates are applied to the user's TomTom account, but, for an older model, lifetime means the lifetime of the model with the manufacturer, not the user’s, and in fact in a number of cases technical reasons prevent updates on older models (insufficient memory for newer maps).

    I do not believe that, in the opposite case, paid annual subscription updates would be available on this site for such an old model, but even if they were, they would not be cost-effective compared to buying a new entry-level model with lifetime updates.
