Hello,
I have a problem with Skype for a week now. Let me explain my situation:
- I have a group chat with about ten people, but since last Wednesday, messages are not showing up anymore, I’m not receiving notifications, and my messages are not sending either (the little circle keeps spinning), while I can chat with other people normally.
- I'm no longer receiving the images that are sent to me, although I can send them (I'm talking about conversations with just one person here).
So, I don't know what to do anymore. I uninstalled Skype, I reinstalled the new version, but it doesn’t change anything.
If you have any ideas, please..
Thank you and have a good evening/day!

Hello, first of all make sure you actually have the latest version of Skype. In the Skype interface, click on "Help" at the top left, then on "Check for updates."
If you do have the latest version of Skype, I suggest resetting your local Skype profile by following these instructions:
Just a little warning, this may delete all your saved conversations/discussions, and possibly more (your contacts will still be there, of course).
- Close Skype completely
- Press the Windows key and R simultaneously
- Type %appdata%
- A Windows Explorer window should open, open the "Skype" folder
- Right-click on the folder named after your Skype username
- Click on "cut" and then paste that folder to your desktop.
- Open Skype and let me know if your problem is resolved; note that I told you to cut and paste the folder with your Skype username and not to delete it because it contains all your conversation history, etc., if you want to recover it, you just have to do the reverse, that is, copy it from your desktop back to the "Skype" folder.

I will still try what you just told me.
