"Send to" inactive?

Hello, I have an issue with the "send to" feature in Word (Windows 10) when trying to create a compressed file...
When I hover my mouse over the arrow that should open the options provided by "send to", a choice field opens: but it's empty!! Nothing is offered...
Therefore, I can't create a zip folder/file... and this is required for submitting my work on a platform :( Anyway, I'm stuck!
If anyone has encountered this problem before and has a solution, thank you in advance for your help!

Hello

It's a Windows problem... Word has nothing to do with it. Also, there are other ways to compress a file: for example, right-click on the desktop or in a folder => New => Compressed folder. Once the zip is created, you can drag your Word file into it.

That being said, your "Send to" is not working. Try the following method:

Open the SendTo folder, which is by default located here:
C:\Users\xxxx\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\SendTo

Note: replace xxxx with your username

In this folder, check if you have a file named Bluetooth. It's often this file that is useless and corrupts the Send to function. Delete it and try again.
