Export only one favorites folder

Hello,

I use Google Chrome and I have a favorites folder that I want to export. I found out how to export all bookmarks, but how can I export just one folder?

Hello,

There is no option to do this all at once, but be logical...

1. Save all your favorites
2. Delete all your favorites except for your folder
3. Save all your favorites (in this case, the only remaining folder)
4. Restore all your favorites

And there you go...

But what’s the point of doing this?

Thank you for your response. Nothing is planned. Google Chrome is very simple, but also very limited.

For what reason? To share my interest in certain bookmarks, without sharing my interest in all my bookmarks.

That's it, I found it. You just need to export the bookmarks in IE and then create a compressed folder (right-click/Send to/Compressed folder) that you can then send as an attachment.

Send as an attachment? Uh... in what circumstances do you need to send a compressed favorites file as an attachment?

open the html bookmarks with pspad, copy and paste them into a new file, and save as html

I don't see why it seems so incomprehensible... We might need to share (and not sync) just part of our favorites with someone. Like a folder of professional thematic sites with a work colleague, for example, and therefore don't necessarily want to share all of our favorites, which are more personal.
