Hello,
During a synchronization of my e-reader with the PC, there was a power outage, and since then my e-reader has been stuck on a white screen with the light near the power button flashing green, and when I press the power button, nothing happens?!
I have performed several basic resets (with a paperclip in the hole located at the back of the e-reader) as well as a 3-hour charge, but despite these operations, my e-reader still shows a white screen with that flashing green light
I sincerely thank all the people who will kindly respond to me and perhaps provide a solution to my problem
Best regards
Billybop

Hello Teutates,
Thank you for your response, but I just found the solution.
By fiddling around blindly, I inserted a paperclip into the hole at the back of the e-reader (the factory reset) while holding down the button that lights up the screen, the light turned red and the screen indicated a reset update and asked me after 10 minutes of being plugged in to connect the e-reader to the PC (with the Kobo Desktop software) and everything went back to normal, my e-reader is working perfectly. (the operation is a bit lengthy)
I am surprised that this solution is not mentioned on the Kobo website.
Thanks again for your response, Teutates
Have a good evening

However, regarding the battery, be careful. Even when not in use, as long as it's not turned off, it consumes (makes sense). Also, the charging time is quite long. I've just made the mistake of letting the battery drop until the Kobo demands charging and, from experience, I suppose it will take all night (since 7:00 PM)..
You can also plug your Kobo into a wall outlet to speed things up. Just grab the charger from a smartphone. No problem with the chargers for Samsung Galaxy Note 4 and S3.
