Hello everyone, best wishes,
my year is off to a bad start, for nearly 3 hours I tried to connect my laptop to the internet via wifi and it didn't work (actually I turned on my old PC which is connected via cable, and since it wasn't connecting either, I unplugged and replugged my Freebox)... after an hour, I managed to get it online, but now my laptop won't connect anymore. After 3 hours, I finally managed to get it back on the net via wifi, but now a 2 has appeared behind my network name!
I searched online and someone had the same issue as me, but no one could provide an answer.
So I'm wondering if I'm properly secured and if I'm not on a "fake" connection, being useless with computers.
I went to my Free account and checked that everything is okay, and there is no 2 appearing there..
I made a mistake by hiding my connection and I believe that's when it happened (but I'm not sure), I made the connection visible again on Free, but the 2 is still there.
Any idea where this could be coming from? What to do? How can I know if I'm securely connected to my home connection?
Thanks
the laptop I'm using is an Asus x55v
Configuration: Windows / Mozilla 11.0

hello
I think that in the end you created a second connection, in addition to the first one
otherwise the one from the first PC is in "normal" on 1 and the other PC or phone or other device is on 2
the best way to update everything is to call Free at 3244, from your landline or mobile phone with a Free SIM
it's included in your subscription and you'll see, they're super friendly, even if right now, sometimes the waiting time (free) is a bit long. (it cuts off asking you to call back if it's too long)

I always had my desktop (wired), my laptop (wifi), and my smartphone (wifi) connected and I’ve always had just one connection. I still have a "hidden" connection that appears in my list of available wifis (besides my neighbors' and mine, which is number 2).
If this connection is secure and mine is too, that’s fine, but I will probably call Free to see if there’s an issue. However, the last time I called, they didn’t solve my problem; in fact, the two times I called... I had to do everything myself.
Thank you for your response.
If anyone has another idea, don’t hesitate.
