You have an event (Missed call for example)

• Do you have a "envelope" on the screen that is blinking?

If yes, you have a message in your voicemail (at your operator)
See the manual, paragraph 5.8.1 The voicemail (and the following) page 29 of the attached pdf below).

Pressing the button marked C in the image above stops the blinking:

In standby mode: if the voicemail message waiting symbol is active, long press to disable the message waiting symbol
