Hello,
I have a Philips CD 181/CD 186 cordless phone.
It always shows as busy and I can't make any calls. I've unplugged it, checked the batteries, etc... I think I've messed around in the menu and I can't restore the communication. I contacted the last person who called me to ask if they had hung up properly, and they said yes.
Thank you for helping me, I'm in a bind. Gardénia
Configuration: Windows 7 / Internet Explorer 9.0

Hello,
If you have already removed the batteries and unplugged the base, it seems that the issue is with your telephone line.
I encourage you to check if the phone works properly with another telephone line (at a friend's or neighbor's, for example).
This will allow you to determine if there is a fault with the handset or the telephone line.
As a precaution, I also invite you to reset your phone by following these steps:
1 Press the MENU/OK button.
2 Select [SERVICES] > [RESET], then press MENU/OK to confirm.
» The handset will display a confirmation request.
3 Press the MENU/OK button to confirm.
» All settings will be reset, and the welcome screen will be displayed.
Philips remains at your disposal for any further information at 01 57 30 40 51 (local call price), or via our website (https://www.philips.fr/c-w/support-home/support-contact-page.html
