Hello,
I am having some problems with my new iMac OS X El Capitan version 10.11.1.
On my old computer, I was on 10.6.8.
I am dragging some backup folders to an external hard drive, to Documents
on the new computer, some turn black, and if I click <<cannot be="" opened="" for="" unknown="" reasons="">>
Folders initially saved in Excel (turned into Numbers)

On another note, is my Epson Stylus DX 7450 printer compatible with El Capitan?

Thank you to anyone who will kindly respond to me.
Best regards.</cannot>

    Hi,

For your first question I won't be able to help you but for the second one: yes if you plug it in via USB your printer will be installed automatically.

    Hello AurélienT29,
Thank you for replying, the problem with my printer persists, the scan works.
My printer is recognized, Epson Stylus DX 7450 is displayed, but
below it appears - a green dot and Inactive By default.
I click on supply levels, response: Information not available.
    But unable to print ??????
How to know if the print driver is properly installed?

Another problem with Excel (Numbers) When I drag a folder retrieved from a USB drive, while it was initially presented as 2 distinct sheets, I find it with everything combined on one sheet......
Not to mention the problems described in my previous message.

THIS NEW EL CAPITAN IS NOT YET UP TO PAR....and I'm afraid I've
lost quite a bit of files, (those that have turned black)

    Thank you for responding.
