Hello,
I bought an Epson LQ - 50 dot matrix printer and I can't install it on my MAC OS 10.7.5. When I open the installation CD, the data opens in a text file... And I don't know which "driver" I could use to read the CD to install the printer. Would a kind person have a solution?
Configuration: Macintosh / Safari 6.1.6

Good evening,
According to the specifications of this printer, it is not compatible with Mac OS:
Click on the image for full size.
The installation disk drivers are for Windows, so it is normal that you cannot read the information.
The only solution, if you want to use this type of printer, is to install Windows on your Mac using Bootcamp.
When it's urgent, it's already too late (Talleyrand)
When everything has failed, read the manual ;)
