Broken screen, no more response/save

Hello, yesterday afternoon after almost two years with my Sony Xperia Z1 contract, I cracked its screen: there's nothing to be done. Even turning it off is impossible since I need to touch "Turn Off"...

Problem 1: my alarm has been looping since this morning. Is there a command from a PC that would allow me to disable it?

I'd like to avoid, if you were thinking of suggesting it, letting it drain until it shuts down, because I won't even be able to enter the PIN when turning it back on, and thus goodbye access to web.whatsapp.com if it remains locked forever.

Problem 2: I'd really like to find someone knowledgeable who could tell me if there's a way to back up WhatsApp conversations from the PC as well, since I can't access the settings via the app even to do that. I'm sure everything is possible if you know the field well...

Anyway, I’m going to have to change my phone as soon as possible, hence my concern about saving these conversations (maybe on the SIM card?).

I know very little to nothing, so any help is welcome...

thank you

I can't answer you on that, I don't know this application, however, look online for how to archive conversations

Hello!

For problem 1, you can stream your screen using MyPhone Explorer (available for free on the internet) and navigate with your PC's mouse. However, you need to connect your smartphone to the PC using this utility, so you must have already enabled debugging mode and/or have the app on your phone (for that, you can do this on Google Play through your internet browser).

Hello and thank you for writing, I believe my phone is not equipped for this, and I'm worried that I won't be able to change it because it has accidentally shut down. So the first problem is partly solved; I understood that I could turn it off without losing access to whatsapp.web....

So the situation has evolved a bit since I can no longer enter the PIN code, which means I can no longer open its files from the computer.

If anyone knows a clever way to unlock this SIM card remotely (via PC...)

And the second problem remains the same. Can I safely back up my conversations in any other way than through WhatsApp itself, which is no longer accessible?

In short, the dilemma persists; I wish I were in a movie with characters who know how to solve everything with just a couple of moves.

Hello, according to your information, the only way to stop the alarm would be to remove the battery.
Remove the screws at the bottom of the phone, slide the cover down, I believe, and disconnect the battery ribbon or remove the battery directly; I don’t remember the model exactly.

As for problem 2, I can’t answer you; I don’t use that application.

Best regards

thank you for your response,

that's precisely the problem, I don't turn it off on purpose, because after that the pin will remain locked and I won't be able to retrieve anything, even from the computer when I plug it in via USB (which is still working a bit for now...)

Yes, well, if you can't access your phone because the touchscreen is dead, I don't see how it can be of any use to you ^^

For now, it mainly serves me to access WhatsApp via the computer, which is only possible if the phone is "active" nearby... Anyway.

Thank you very much for the link, you never know.

A close friend tells me that "archiving" a WhatsApp conversation (which is also possible from the computer) ensures that I can find it intact if I connect on another device. Could it be that simple?
