The "greater than" and "less than" signs on the computer keyboard? If I understood the question correctly?
I use the 2 keys that are located at the bottom left of the keyboard, between the Shift (Maj) key and the "w" key, just above "Ctrl" and the "WINDOWS" symbol.
Apparently it works since people understand me. Just like in math, 2>1 and 1>2
(in uppercase we have > and in lowercase we have <)
But there might be other possibilities, this is just a suggestion!

Under Windows, your illustration is perfect.
But under Linux/Shell, the greater and less-than signs do not appear!

        Hi,
And what symbols are on the keyboard key just to the right of the left shift key?

        There are > and <
But given the time it took me to respond, you probably have the answer for a while now!

Sorry, I took a long time! You probably found an answer. But if that's not the case, you can ask the manufacturer directly. If your computer is registered there, you just need to provide the serial number (there, use a magnifying glass first!). That's what I do with my Acer. But you see, I'm not very good: I thought Linux was an operating system, not a computer (Lol!). As for Shell, I admit I don't know anything about it! And there was even an error in my response; I wrote "1>2" as an example. If I find any info, I'll let you know. But you've probably already found it!
