French quotation marks keyboard

Download keyboard + and put it in there to make a better shortcut like Alt + G etc...

Here is the solution for Word!
Click on Word Options / Proofing / AutoCorrect / While typing / Check the option Quotes " or " " with the `` quotes

It's good, I finally succeeded, I downloaded this http://www.dicomoche.net/kbdfrac.htm
which allows you to use lots of special characters!

It's simple, ALT Gr + Z "ALT Gr + X"

download autohotkey (open source = no ads, no viruses!)
create a new autohotkey file (right click)
edit it with notepad for example (in code = THAT way!, not unicode or anything!)
write the code (very simple) with this: https://www.autohotkey.com/docs/Hotkeys.htm

to launch automatically on startup, create a shortcut of your file and put it in the start menu/ in the startup folder (or something like that in French) in English it's allprogram/startup folder

my code for example:

the key "²" becomes "« " and "$" becomes " »"

and as a bonus when you press windows+n it opens notepad++

I might have a solution, but it seems like it only works in Word, so I don't know if it can help you.

It involves pressing the quotation mark key on the keyboard twice to open the French quotes and doing the same thing again after typing your text to close them.

There you go, I’m not sure if you already knew this (sorry, I didn't bother to read all the comments); if you did, then never mind, it might help someone else, otherwise, great ^^!
