Unable to install Intel HD Graphics driver

Hello,

I've had this issue for some time now, actually since I switched to Windows 10.
All my drivers are up to date, except for the HD Graphics driver which is causing me problems.
Indeed, my computer has version 10.18.15.4256, while the latest version as of today is 10.18.15.4279.
I have the correct driver, and when I try to install it, I get this message:
"The driver being installed has not been validated for this computer. Contact the computer manufacturer for the appropriate driver."
As a result, my computer has some display issues, I can’t put my computer to sleep or else I can’t wake it up even if the computer is powered on. Additionally, if my computer goes to sleep by itself, when I wake it up, it crashes with a blue screen.
I therefore think that these problems stem from the Intel HD Graphics driver.

What can I do about this according to you...?

Thank you

Configuration: Windows / Chrome 46.0.2490.71

    hello,
On branded PCs, you can't update Intel HD drivers via the Intel website or driverscloud, it's generic drivers.

I don't know the brand of your PC, but the Intel drivers have been modified by the manufacturer, so the only way to update them is to find the Intel driver for Windows 10 on your PC's manufacturer website.
I had this problem on 8.1, but since I switched to Windows 10, I can update without any issues.

      Hello darkleopard,
"I don't know the brand of your PC, but the Intel has been modified by the manufacturer, so the only way to update it is to find the Intel driver for W10 on your PC's brand website."
This is the reason for the statement of the first response, without information it's difficult to answer the question!
      Regards.

    Thank you for your responses.

So, I have an ASUS Zenbook, the UX32LN, running Windows 10.

The problem is that I have already checked the ASUS website for the drivers they offer for my computer, but there is no driver for the Intel HD. You can see it through the link below.

Not offered for Windows 10 indeed, but in 64 bits, you can possibly try to install the one offered for Windows 8.1, it may work or not, that's all!

It seems to me that I had already tried, but I will attempt again and keep you updated in the meantime.

And sorry for the double post, but I'm having a bit of trouble with how the forum works; this is my first post.

I have just downloaded the driver, and during the installation, I am presented with:
"This computer contains newer drivers than the ones you are about to install. Are you sure you want to overwrite the following drivers with older versions?"
So is it better for me to install this older version and then try to install the latest version afterwards (perhaps this older version will even help fix those sleep issues...)
      What do you think?

Well, I installed this Windows 8.1 driver, which is the Intel HD Graphics 10.18.18.3379 from 12/20/2013, and it successfully overwrote my newer driver, the Intel HD Graphics 10.18.15.4256 from 07/17/2015.

It turns out that I no longer have any sleep issues; my computer is functioning perfectly, just like before I upgraded to Windows 10, so on that front, my problem is resolved.

However, my driver is outdated; it's almost 2 years old, and I tried to install the newest one (10.18.15.4279), but I always get the same error message during installation... It's certainly a generic driver, but how can I find a recent driver that corresponds to my PC?

As we explained to you, you can only get it from the Asus site.
So the one you have is the most recent one made by Asus for your PC.

And on top of that, it has fixed your bug, so why would you want to update? There's no point.
Updating these drivers is useful when you have bugs that you want to fix, otherwise if the one you have works perfectly fine, keep it.
