Google chrome is blocking my downloads

Good evening,

I have a problem that has been going on for several days:

Google Chrome blocks my downloads when they finish.

What should I do?

I've disabled the firewall but it didn't help.

I'm somewhat knowledgeable on the subject but I can't find a solution.

Otherwise, no issues in general.

Hello,

Google Chrome disables downloads that may be harmful, such as software containing toolbars (SoftonicDownloader, etc.). This can be disabled, but it is not recommended:
  • advanced settings
  • uncheck: enable protection against phishing and malware


This may also be due to a browser or system configuration issue:
  • Control Panel / Internet Options / Security / Reset all zones to default level
  • Also check for the presence of antivirus
  • Try disabling browser extensions
  • Try updating the browser to the latest version
  • Ensure that all Windows Update updates have been completed.
