Hello everyone,
I have a question today, unfortunately my knowledge of networks and telephony is limited.
I own a landline that I would like to use on my PC.
In terms of hardware, what I have:
- my PC
- my box with an RJ11 port (I have fiber and the phone goes through the box, no wall outlets)
- an RJ11 <> RJ11 cable
What I would like to do (I don’t know at all if it’s possible): receive and make my calls from my PC. In essence, actually use my PC as a landline phone.
Could you tell me if this is possible or not? If yes, how can I proceed?
