Hello everyone, After configuring the DHCP server (Win Server 2008 R2), I have a Successful Installation, with error messages such as the following:

"The DHCP/BINL service on the local computer, belonging to the Windows network administration domain.jon, has determined that it is not authorized to start. It has stopped processing clients. Here are some possible reasons for this:
The computer is part of a corporate directory service and is not authorized in the same domain. (Refer to the help for the DHCP Management Tool for more information.)

This computer cannot join its corporate directory service and has encountered another DHCP service on the network that belongs to a corporate directory service to which the local computer is not authorized."

"DHCP could not consult a directory server"

How can I resolve this problem, please???

    Hello,

Is your DHCP properly joined to your domain?

Are you sure? Are you pinging it correctly?

Yes, of course, my client Windows 7 successfully obtained an address via DHCP as well. Everything is fine, yet I would like to know if in the future I might encounter an error message in AD related to DHCP.

It's already strange that he tells you the service has stopped processing clients since your client received an IP address from the DHCP..
Try restarting the DHCP service, otherwise check that your DHCP is properly linked to the Active Directory.
