Hello,
I often use forums to solve my issues with Office software, but today I can't find any to help me, so I'm diving in and trying to be clear : D
I've had EXCEL (Office 2007) installed on my PC (Windows 8 OS) for several months and everything has been working fine so far.
However, in all my Excel files, when using the filter function, the "Search" box in the filter interface has disappeared or was never present. I didn't notice this issue right away.
Basically, I can no longer quickly search for a word or value in a given filter because it "does not exist".
To be clearer, here’s what I have and what I’m missing below:
I’m not sure if this is a program issue, a configuration issue, or if it simply comes from my version of Excel or something else.
Thank you Thank you Thank you in advance for your help :D
Configuration: Windows / Chrome 44.0.2403.157

Hello,
could you upload a file like that on cjoint.com so we can see if it’s related to the position or the file?

By persevering, we eventually succeed.
So the more it fails, the more chances we have that it works. (the Shadoks)
In addition to the thank you (yes, it’s done!!!), remember to mark it as resolved. Thanks-
Hello,
I have uploaded a test file for the forum as you suggested (link below)

Hello,
It's not related to the file; it's correct on my end.
I don't think it's a disableable option. You should uninstall Excel, clean the registry with CCleaner, and reinstall it.
Before that, you can try re-registering by launching Excel with the /regserver switch. How to do this is at the bottom of this page: https://support.microsoft.com/fr-fr/office/commutateurs-de-ligne-de-commande-pour-les-produits-microsoft-office-079164cd-4ef5-4178-b235-441737deb3a6?ocmsassetid=ha102919739&ctt=1&correlationid=47950baf-30c0-4ee1-94c2-7b7ff7cee5d2&ui=fr-fr&rs=fr-fr&ad=fr

Good evening
.. and the different options of the text filter do not fit?
sincerely

To err is human, to persist is diabolical-
And no, text filters are not enough. They are slower to use and it takes 3 to 4 clicks to achieve more or less the same result as the "search zone."
The "search zone" allows me, for example, on a file of 2000 to 3000 lines, to find a product name or a person's name directly by entering the first letters of them. -
