Pattern Rotation Photoshop CS4

Hello,

I would like to be able to rotate a pattern in a defined area (rectangle) so that the slats of my wood texture (pattern) are perpendicular to my rectangle. I've tried everything, but the rotations I find only rotate my layer's rectangle and not just the pattern inside it... Does anyone know how to help me? :)

    Hello
    Draw a rectangle (rectangle tool)
Double click on the layer in the palette to open the blending options

Pattern overlay and apply the pattern
Then right-click on the effects line in the palette>create a layer
Finally, Ctrl T on this layer and you will be able to reposition, resize, and rotate the pattern without affecting the rectangle.

Super, thank you very much, it works!! But it's just a bit complicated because the adjustment frame for my rotation or the size of my pattern extends over my entire workspace, so I have to fiddle a bit, but it works great, thank you!!

Yes, the pattern layer fills the entire image, but that's what keeps the quality
You zoom out to see the transformation handles in this case (Ctrl -)
