Hello,

I'm trying to update Camera Raw on my portable CS4, but the setup can't find it. What should I do?....

    Replace your bogus CS4 with an official version of Photoshop.

    the setup cannot find it,

    It's not really surprising with hacked versions.

    Hi

    1 - A legal portable Photoshop doesn’t exist

    2 - It’s not with a setup that you update Camera Raw, it’s a standalone exe, for example CameraRaw_9_3.exe

    3 - The version of Camera Raw is limited by ... the version of Photoshop

    In CS4 you wouldn’t get very far anyway (CR 5.4)

      Ok well you’ll give me the link to download a high school version from Adobe

      Apart from that, have you downloaded the Camera Raw exe compatible with your CS4 from Adobe or did your school maybe give you the solution?

      The portable version for high school is great, you can put it in your backpack.

      I agree with @kaumune
      a portable version is not official. It works in a pinch, but don't expect too much from it... so there are quite a few extensions, features, and filters that are not accessible.
      If it’s indeed your high school that gave you this version, it’s very questionable behavior from a state institution that is supposed to combat this kind of "fraud."
      Photoshop is expensive or it’s not legal!
