Hello,
I am looking for a new laptop, and I want to go for an MSI GS70, the problem is that the chosen model comes with FreeDOS...
Therefore, I would like to install Windows 10 on this machine, which by the way does not have a DVD drive. I know that I need to use a USB stick, but I am not familiar with the steps to follow. I would like to gather information on the procedures before purchasing this laptop.
Thank you in advance,
Best regards.
Configuration: Windows 7 / Chrome 44.0.2403.157

Hello,
You just need to obtain a Windows 10 ISO (via MediaCreationTool for example) and put it on a USB drive (MCT should handle that too, I believe), then insert the USB drive into the laptop and choose to boot from it (either through the BIOS or via a "boot menu" accessible at startup).
From there, you can install Windows 10 without any problem.
However, I do not recommend Windows 10 if it's for a computer meant for gaming or such things, as the system is still somewhat unstable and there may be compatibility issues with component drivers.
Best regards,

Thanks!
It's one of the two most used OS along with Windows 8.1 right now, especially by gamers for its stability... so ;-)
