Hello everyone,
I will be starting a DUT GEA in September and I am considering buying a computer to take my classes, do presentations, and more.
I am in a work-study program, and in my company, I will be doing accounting, so I might need to work from home on my own computer.
And I have no idea which direction to go.
I was thinking of buying a Mac, but I would like to know if the Microsoft Office software as well as the files saved on those programs are compatible with a Mac.
So, is it possible to get a Mac, or should I opt for a PC, and if so, which one?
Thank you in advance.

Honestly, for accounting, I doubt a Mac is necessary. Given the price, go for a Windows. Moreover, to use Windows software on a Mac, you need to install Windows on it, so it's better to get a Windows PC directly =)
To advise you properly, it would be good to know if you have any specific software to use in your curriculum, so I can guide you towards a PC that can run them best.
If there are no specific software requirements, a "simple" PC should do the trick. It will then be a matter of seeing what suits you best in terms of screen size and storage capacity, among other things.
