I would like to ask you, what is the appropriate RAM model for an HP 250 G7 laptop (core i3)?

While researching on a RAM sales website, I found a DDR4 2666.

Why do you want to increase the RAM?

Hello,

The model of the PC is an HP 250 G7 notebook PC
It has an Intel i3 - 7020U processor running at 2.3 GHz

I want to increase the RAM because the computer, which is new, is lagging a bit as I plan to use Photoshop and audio processing software.

  If it is slow, it has nothing to do with the RAM at all...
  The components are really basic and increasing the RAM will change absolutely nothing.
  Low-end motherboard, slow processor, no graphics card....
  A suitable PC would have been needed.
  This model is only suitable for basic office tasks and internet browsing.

The Crucial site tells you what is compatible with your machine

Then you can buy from them (they guarantee compatibility)... or elsewhere

You're right to max out the RAM given your use of Photoshop

Don't forget to adjust the % of RAM allocated in Edit === Preferences ==== Performance

  It's barely enough to run (badly) W10 64 bits
  
  8 GB is really the bare minimum, you start to be comfortable with 16 GB
  
  If you also have a dedicated SSD for the work disk, that's perfect
