Which laptop to choose for prep?

Hello,
next year I will be in a PCSI preparatory class and I absolutely need a laptop to take notes (I am dysgraphic). However, I am not very knowledgeable about laptops... This laptop will only be used in class since I will have my good old desktop at home. I'm not sure what criteria to base my decision on since I have never had a laptop... Battery life seems quite important, but I don't really know what to take in terms of RAM and storage...
I have a budget of max €400, I have already done some research and I have retained the CHUWI HeroBook Pro 14 (but I don't know the brand) or the Acer Swift 1 range.
Could you tell me what storage capacity is necessary (considering I could buy external drives if needed) as well as the RAM (4GB seems sufficient to me...)
Thank you

    Thank you for your response
So for you, is this PC good to last at least two years of prep? What worries me the most is the battery life, but well... batteries are complex, even on brand-name laptops like Acer/Asus, it's not always great...

    Hello,
It's quite nice as a basic model... https://www.chuwi.fr/herobook-pro
It wasn't designed for gaming. Its single graphics card (plus an integrated graphics controller on the motherboard) is more intended for office work.
The brand of this ultraportable is Chuwi. Available on Amazon for under 350 euros... https://www.amazon.fr/CHUWI-HeroBook-Ordinateur-Portable-Ultrabook/dp/B083B8L7Q9
