Hello,

I bought my ACER E17, running Windows 8.1, 3 weeks ago, everything was working fine, but since I installed Windows 10, my numeric keypad is no longer working. I've tried plenty of tips found on various sites, but nothing works, no keys are responding anymore!!!
Can you help me get the functions of my numeric keypad back? I use it a lot??

Thank you to baladur13 for the link, but the article talks about laptops that don't have a numeric keypad, whereas I have a numeric keypad and it's that one that's stuck!!

      Hello,

Following my issue with the numpad being locked and after much searching, here is the solution:
      - go to Control Panel
      - Hardware and Sound
      - Ease of Access Center
      - Make the mouse easier to use
      - uncheck the box "Turn on Mouse Keys"
      - apply

then restart and not shut down the computer, which is what I didn’t do, and now it works.

      Best regards

    Hello,
    Try installing TouchPad_ELANTECH_13.6.3.1_W10x64_A.zip maybe!
    Best regards.

Thank you for responding so quickly. I went to the link, but I see that it's for Packard Bell and I have an Acer. Do you think it will work??

      Thank you.

I downloaded it, but I found myself in front of a folder. Should I extract it, and if so, how?? I'm sorry, but I don't know much about computers!!!

      Thank you for your response.

Extract the archive to a folder using software like 7zip or WinRAR, then run "setup.exe" to install the numeric keypad driver. (This works for me on an Aspire ES1-711-C089 running Windows 10).

However, my touchpad isn't working, and the Fn keys to turn Wi-Fi on/off, mute sound, etc. are also not functioning. Does anyone have an idea? I couldn't find drivers for that on Acer support.
