Sending SMS from France to Belgium with a different operator

Hello,

I'm trying to send a text message to a friend in Belgium with my Free operator. My contact has a different operator and their number starts with 24 96....
What should I do? Thank you for your response.

Hi.

2496? Isn't it rather 0496XXXXXXXX? ;-)

In that case, you need to prefix the number with 0032.

0496 thus becomes 0032496.
