Hello everyone,
after some bad handling on my work PC, I regularly hear small "beeps" when I use my keyboard or the scanner connected to the PC (I'm a librarian) even though the PC is not connected to any audio peripherals and has no speakers. The sound is coming from inside the PC. Could you please tell me how to turn off this sound? Thank you for your reply,

I think you have enabled Sticky Keys.
Press and hold the right shift key for 8-10 seconds. A menu will appear, click on SETTINGS then uncheck everything in the keyboard and sound tabs.
I'm not sure but it’s worth a try ;)

You go to Start -> Control Panel -> Ease of Access -> Further Ease of Access Options, and then there's a list where you click "Make the keyboard easier to use," then "Set up Sticky Keys" in blue. After that, you uncheck all the "shortcut keys" and uncheck the second to last option "Make a sound when the modifier keys are pressed," and then you're free ;)
I used to have the same problem, and now the message "Do you want to enable Sticky Keys?" and the beeping are gone :)

Good evening everyone. I had this problem with beeping, but really annoying beeps every time I pressed any key on the keyboard. By just holding down the key below the enter key for almost 10 seconds, I no longer hear any beeping. I have a Packard Bell laptop. Good luck!
I solved my problem with the "tips and tricks" section and an article by Jeff titled "disable system beeps."
In 5 minutes, it was fixed! Thank you!

I found where the section is located...

you have two keys that allow you to type a capital letter momentarily.
One is located on the left side of the keyboard under the cap locks key, and the other is on the right, under the Enter key.
There is usually an arrow pointing upwards on the "shift" keys
;)

Hello,
I just used a text file to see if it beeps and there were no problems, everything works normally. However, when a window opens asking me if I want to make changes to the text, it beeps, whereas it didn’t do that before.

So please describe more precisely when it beeps and when it doesn't.
And are your hits consistent despite the beep?

Vola, I have a DELL XPS laptop and I have a problem with my keyboard. When I turn on my computer, I press some keys and I don't hear anything, but when the session is open, I press and the beep returns? What should I do? Help me! (the beep happens with every key, which means that when I press a key, I hear a beep)
Hello, for some time now, whenever I press any key, an unbearable beep is emitted. I have disabled all functions related to this beep, and I have also gone into the BIOS of my computer, but nothing works; the beep is still there. What should I do? I have a Dell XPS L502X.
Best regards.
Best regards.
Sorry, but it's not working. Besides, it doesn't beep all the time; it only does it occasionally when I do some particular things with the PC, otherwise I can type normally without beeping to bother me!
Thank you for your response.
