Hello, I would like to know where a person comes from if their mobile number starts with 04!
Because today I met someone who spoke German or Flemish (lol) I don't really know, and this person gave me their number. When I go online and type in their number, it tells me that the number is from Var (83), is that possible?? Please answer me! Thanks

By coincidence, I am a Parisian currently in the Var,
the department number has nothing to do with phone numbers (in the sense that you won’t find a 89 in a number from the Var) but is associated with another number.
For example, for the Var, it starts with 04, and for the Paris region, it starts with 01.
