CD Audio Playback Issue on Philips MCM760/12 Mini Chain
Hello,
I own a Philips mini-chain MCM760/12
https://www.philips.fr/c-p/MCM760_12/lecture-de-cd-mp3-wma-et-usb-direct/aide
and unfortunately for some time now...
- the CD player displays "Reading" but the Audio CD doesn't load
- then "No disc" and of course it doesn't work.
As a result, I disassembled the top of the mini-chain to access the lens, I took the opportunity to clean it a bit (dust has accumulated since I’ve had the chain).
I tried to start a CD but the display says "Reading" and nothing more?
Where does the problem come from (the lens or something else)?
Thank you in advance

Dear Arno59,
I am sorry to hear that your MCM760 micro system is no longer reading CDs. Is the problem occurring with all types of CDs? In order to determine the source of the issue, you should try with at least 5 original (non-burned) CDs.
I then invite you to reset the system by unplugging it from the power socket for a few minutes. After plugging it back in, test the CD player again.
When did you purchase your device?
I look forward to hearing from you.
