Hello,

I have an EPSON XP-610 multifunction printer. I received this message: "an ink absorber is nearing the end of its life. Contact Epson service. Turn off" (I didn't even know what that was – I searched and found out what it is).
I don't have a computer at home; the printer is used for photos and copies. Additionally, I have lost the manual.
I would like to know where the ink absorbers are located on this brand, if they can be purchased, and if it is possible to change them oneself or if the printer must be taken to the place of purchase. Also, I would like to know the cost of this consumable. How can I also know which absorber needs to be replaced since it says "one," unless it is just a single ink waste absorber block.
I thank anyone who can answer all my questions.

Configuration: Windows 7 / Internet Explorer 9.0

Hello,
when the pads are saturated, you need to either clean them or replace them
