Wi-Fi tab missing in Windows 8

Solved

Hello, I have a laptop running Windows 8.
This morning when I tried to connect to my Livebox via Wi-Fi, I searched for the Wi-Fi tab on my taskbar: I couldn't find it.
So I went into the PC settings and then into networks, and there I no longer have the Wi-Fi tab, but I still have Ethernet (and VPN).
Is this due to a mistake I made, and how can I resolve it? Thank you.
Have a good day.

Hello True80,

By right-clicking on your taskbar at the bottom, you click on properties.
In the "Taskbar" tab, you have "notification area", you click on customize.

Then you find the wifi icon and select "Show icon and notifications".
