Hello,
I am asking for your help with this:
I would like to know if it is possible to create a table in Numbers with NAME, FIRST NAME, and SCORE of several participants in a competition and..... When entering the score next to the name/first name, it should automatically move the associated name/first name according to the increasing order of the score.
Example:
Jean Dubois 18
Alex Bertrand 20
When I write the score, Alex should move to the top and Jean to the bottom.
Thank you in advance for your help/solution.

Hello,
as the request is presented, no, it is not possible to do it automatically. It needs to go through a sorting of the table, all the rows), according to a given column.
However, by using, for example, the MAX function and the VLOOKUP function, we can list the champion at the top. (we could also put the least good one at the bottom, by using the MIN function and VLOOKUP)
Example:

Hello,
To automate this sorting continuously, I don't think it's possible with Numbers.
What you need to do is perform a manual sort after selecting all the rows and columns affected by the sort. All, but only those affected, to avoid mixing data, for example, to prevent Jacques from getting Julie's points, etc.
Once the entire table is selected, you request to sort and decide on the column that serves as the basis in either ascending or descending order. It's very quick.
Best regards.
