Hello everyone,
As part of my professional training, I am using CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software which is CATIA V5R21.
I recently changed my computer and have reinstalled the same version of CATIA on my new machine. However, I still can't open the files I created on my old computer.
I suspect that the two licenses are different, which might explain the issue.
Could you help me?

Hello,
Normally there shouldn't be any issues if you've installed the same version (R21), do you get an error message when you try to open a file?
Another possibility is that you might not have installed the same environment P1, P2, or P3. Depending on the environment and your license, this gives access to different workshops (P2 is the most common).
Tools menu > options, first tab (general) to check the active environment.

Also, I believe files are not compatible between a student version of CATIA and a regular one.
