Home cinema and PS4 optical issue

It seems to me that you are looking for complications.

Here are the connections to make:

1) HDMI OUT HC* <- HDMI CABLE -> HDMI 1 TV.

2) HDMI PS4 <- HDMI CABLE -> HDMI 2 TV.

3) TV OPTICAL OUT <- OPTICAL CABLE -> OPTICAL IN HC*

HC* = Home-Cinema.

Set up the TV's optical output and configure the home cinema for the optical input.

With this type of connections, it will certainly be easier for you to set up the TV and the Home Cinema for the optical rather than tinkering with the PS4.

The wiring diagram is the same, your TV has 3 HDMI INPUTS and one OPTICAL OUTPUT:

1) HDMI OUTPUT BDV-Z7 <- HDMI CABLE -> HDMI 1 TV.

2) HDMI OUTPUT PS4 <- HDMI CABLE -> HDMI 2 TV.

3) HDMI OUTPUT DECODER <- HDMI CABLE -> HDMI 3 TV.

4) OPTICAL OUTPUT TV <- OPTICAL CABLE -> OPTICAL IN BDV-Z7.

In order for the sound from the HDMI devices connected to the TV to come through the home cinema, there will certainly be some settings to configure on both the TV and the home cinema, but these operations should be detailed in the manual for each device.

Not having knowledge of all brands, I can only invite you to carefully read the manuals for your devices, you will surely find the answer(s) to your issue there.
