My iPad shuts down after opening an app.

Hello!

I’ve had an iPad mini for about two years (the warranty has obviously expired). It has been working perfectly fine until now, I don’t have anything specific to mention.

But for about a week now, I’ve been having a big problem: after clicking on an app, my screen freezes for 2-3 seconds then my iPad turns off. Immediately after, it restarts (but this is very quick, much shorter than usual). Whatever I do, it’s always the same, making it impossible to use the iPad: I can do absolutely nothing but stare at my home screen. I should mention that I’ve already tried the reboots suggested by other forums, and this problem exists with all apps, even the ones pre-installed by Apple.

I have another issue, which may be related: about two weeks ago, my iPad started charging really slowly. It was never very fast, but now I’m talking about 6-7%... per day! Given that it loses 10% in an hour, that’s quite a handicap as well. I’ve looked on forums, but I am using the right cable, I replaced it and it didn’t change anything...

So, considering it’s quite expensive and it worked perfectly until recently, I hope it’s repairable... I hope you can provide me with some answers!

Thank you very much.

When it restarts that quickly, it's called a Respring. (Well, it's not going to help us, but it's for your knowledge lol)
Just try restarting it... And if that doesn't work, back it up with the PC, restore it, and finally restore it with the backup
