Hello,
I just bought my Asus K555LN-XO078H laptop.
What are the useless software programs that I can uninstall? Here are 2 screenshots of the software that I have.

Also, how do I disable Windows Aero in Windows 8.1?
Thank you.

Hi,
I advise you to keep ASUS Live Update (which allows for system updates), ASUS Smart Gesture (software for the trackpad, very handy! It enables a lot of multitouch gestures), and ASUS USB Charger Plus (which allows charging a device when the computer is in sleep mode). Also, keep the ATK Package, which enables the keyboard shortcuts (fn+f* and others...).
You can uninstall Splendid Video Enhancement Technology: it modifies the colors of your screen, it's supposed to make it look better, but for me it just made the colors lean towards blue, horrible....
Finally, for Bluetooth Software, it’s up to you to see if you need it; I don’t have it. Anyway, Windows natively supports Bluetooth.
And ASUS Screen Saver just adds a screensaver; you can delete it if you wish.

PS: Windows Aero does not exist in Windows 8, only in Windows 7.

Oh yes, that's not about ASUS, you can delete it, unless you know what it's for and want to keep them ^^
