Hello,
I have been using Money Manager Ex for 5 years (all the accounting for my artisan husband)!
For the past week, when I click on the shortcut (or through the program), Money doesn't open in full screen but minimizes to the taskbar and runs visibly in the background since it suggests scheduled operations on the schedule. But I can no longer display it!! I've tried restoring the backup I had on my external hard drive: impossible. I tried restoring my system to a previous date (in case this was due to an update): impossible.
I guess reinstalling will delete all my data, so I would prefer another solution.
I’m out of ideas, thank you for your help

Hello;
I suppose you have backed up your data externally (external hard drive, USB stick, or even CD/RW) and if so, this backup is secure and installing or reinstalling Money Manager Ex will not affect it.
You can therefore install or reinstall the software without destroying your backup since it is protected on one of the aforementioned media, then restart it from your (up-to-date) backup and everything should go smoothly.
For your information, I use MsMoney 2005 but I installed Money Manager Ex to try it out, I created a "dummy" account that I backed up on one of the aforementioned media and although I'm not very familiar with this software, I encountered no problems >> It opens well in full screen and from the backup made as mentioned above.
See you for the result

Hello ;
In my opinion, there must be a corrupt file in the program and if, as stated, a system restore and other fixes do not solve the problem, I think a clean and complete uninstallation of the software is necessary provided that you are certain that the backup made on the external medium is valid in order to restart the new installation from it (for safety, make another backup by copying the one present on the external hard drive to a CD/RW or USB stick)
What is the operating system of the machine?
Do you have the ability to test it on another machine by installing this software and launching it from the backup?
Restart the machine and reinstall the software from >> This link
See you later for the result obtained

I am using Windows 7 Professional and I assume that reinstalling Money will reset everything to zero!
How can I fix the corrupted file issue? -
