Hello!!!
I have a Philips flat TV 50PF7521D/12, which I tried to reset. Since then, it's stuck in DTV mode with a black screen.
I should mention that I don't have the original remote, I have a Symphony Ruwido RC 21101, but nothing works.
I'm using it in PIP.
What can I do please?

    Hello;
if you say that DTV stays for 2.3 seconds and then disappears, that is normal.
But you should have a message indicating that there is no signal.
If you do not have this message and simply have a black screen: I am afraid that the TV TURNS OFF automatically on startup and that is a hardware failure.

    Hello adam2012 and thank you
I don’t think the TV turns off because I can still use it in PIP mode, but speaking of hardware failure; I changed 2 capacitors that had swollen.
Repair was done without any issues
but since the famous reset operation, I find myself with this problem
Thank you in advance for your replies

    Hello again.
In my opinion, any Philips remote control (infrared) should work with it.

    Dear Customer,

To reset your television, press and hold the MENU button located on the side of the TV for 5 seconds. A congratulations message will appear on the screen.

Please repeat the installation steps as if it were the first time you turned on your TV. This activity will reset the factory settings for both digital and analog modes.

Could you please let us know if this was helpful?

Looking forward to hearing from you,

    Best regards,

      Hello
still nothing. It's by doing this manipulation that I arrived at this result.
Contrary to what I have read on other forums, I do not have a blue screen, my screen remains black with the DTV displayed in the top left corner when I turn it on. It stays for 2-3 seconds then disappears.
Do you think I can fix this problem with the original remote control?
      Thank you in advance.
