Hello,
I will soon be selling an iMac and I want my client to have access to the applications that I own and have paid for, without having access to my account.
Normally, when selling an iMac, I create a new administrator account and then delete my account from there.
This way, it’s as if the computer is new, there’s nothing left on the new account.
I do want to delete my current account, but keep my applications.
I’m looking for a way to "transfer" the applications from my account to my client's account, and then delete mine.
Could you please advise me on how to proceed?
Thank you in advance for your help ;)
Have a good evening
Configuration: iPhone / Safari 7.0

Hello,
Applications are not part of any session.
If you delete your current session and use a brand new session, it does not change the content of the Applications folder in any way. There is no connection between a session of Pierre, Paul, or Jacques and the one who purchased the applications located in the Applications folder. The latter are accessible to everyone.
Best regards

Hello Dede,
"It depends"...
if, for example, a person sells their Mac and doesn't buy another one, switches to Windows... they can transfer the software with the licenses (not always, it depends on the license - so it should be checked).
And indeed, when there is a license transfer, the new owner must have the original installation files, keys, serial numbers, etc., while the former owner must keep nothing and no longer use the relevant software. Sometimes, it is necessary to contact the software publisher to transfer the license (which I personally did a few years ago when my employer gave me the Photoshop CS suite for Mac that he no longer used after the graphics service switched to Windows). -
